    Great interview, brought back lots of memories!
    Met Jerry at the 1st annual Gator Nationals in 1970. We ran AA/GS car and Jerry had a AA/A named "Baby Huey" the duck.
    Fast forward to 1980 and we raced Darrell at a lot of races with his dragster. Ron Wood was driving our "Chicken Chokers" dragster against Darrell at an open race in VA. As it turned out we met him in the finals and Jerry hung a rubber duck on his wing to compete with the rubber chicken on ours. Jerry said that if we won he would cut the duck off of his car and if he won we would have to cut the chicken off of ours. We had to cut the chicken off of our car after the finals!
    Jerry was the funniest man I ever knew in racing....
