Trying to remove low end torque w/camshaft

    So what is your driveshaft speed at 1.0, and 1.5 seconds into the run with a 5.0 rear? What diameter slicks are you running?

    Im at 4100 at 1 second, I will have to pull my data to look at 1.5seconds those numbers don't stick in my head like the .5 .75 and 1 do!:D

    Why it would have intake valve further away from piston

    Sounds like it needs more power about 1.5 sec out,......just my thoughts.

    I think Jay has a point. Back in 1980 I watched a competitor in Pro Comp run 6.85-205+ (Low ET and Top Speed) hazing the tires slightly about 2 seconds in the run. He took power and clutch out and got some shake (and slowed .15 and 5 mph). Took more power and clutch out and got shake like Jay described (and slowed to a 7.19-196).

    I'd leave the cam alone and add or subtract power whenever or wherever needed, just my opinion!
