Just getting anxious! Any predictions on who will win the championship this year? I would have to put my money on an A-fuel car, but I'd say it's wide open.

Good luck with the sponser John. I'm sure you'll be running strong either way!
Are we going to see any surprises this year or basically the same guys in the top 5 or 10?
I think Mitch Myers with Steve Boggs tuning is a safe bet for a top 10 finish.

AF might have a good chance of a top 10.

Steve F. should be a contender.

If Steve and Mitch stay together they will be one to watch.

Mike Kosky should be tougher in the East. Look for him to battle for the DIV. 1 championship as well as a Top 10 er.

Other than Marty, I don't think the blown cars stand a chance. The A-Fuel cars make to much HP. That 100 lbs. won't make a difference IMHO.

tjenna, You say if Steve and Mitch stay together. Do you know something that we don't? Why wouldn't they stay together?

    No info.

Just know that tuning your own deal and then having to tune for someone else or have someone tuning for you can bring up some issues.

    ie.

    Driver styles are different
    Tuning methods are different
    People are different
    Philosophies are different

    And it all costs money.

But on the other hand Steve has done this with many teams and won. Bartones, Pentland, Newberry etc.

But I believe he didn't last long at Payne's Camp. Not sure of the details.
