Motor week, do you think that maybe what you think is the pump sizer is the fuel shutoff return. If that is the case you don’t have a pump sizer loop.

Bingo and nowhere in this thread has the OP stated where the fuel pressure is during the run, only pressure has been boost which is very low for the OD. Based on the nozzle area and bypass pills being used I am betting its low. I am certainly no expert by any means but I am just offering real world experience with my set up, once I reduced the nozzle and pill area and got the fuel pressure in the 130 to 160 range the engine came alive and saw it in the coloring of the plugs

The ideal fuel pressure I have found to be 125-130 lbs at 8000 in first gear. If it is not there then I change all the nozzles by a percentage keeping the relationship the same.

Take what you are calling a high speed (I say that way because a high speed is typically in the port nozzle line) and make it anpump wiser by reducing the crack pressure.

OR, put the good blower on it.

I wish I was closer, I’d come over and help for free. I’ll give you my phone number if it would help you keep from taking this deal out back and shooting it.

    This is silly.
Unless you have left something out I think it is time to call Spud and see if you both were on the same page when this all started.
PLease let us know what you do from here on out.

Ok guys here is a pic of my fuel setup. From what im seeing the part spud has shown on the fuel schematic as the High Speed (105)psi and .075 jet should actually be my sizer. But its the high speed Im certain of it . Ive checked the pressure and jet size, I assembled my system exactly like the drawing with the exception of removing the existing return block coming off bottom off shutoff and adding a different one that loops back to pump inlet. The check that is shown in drawing right off the shutoff that feeds K valve is indeed a High speed lean out check or at least is set up as one (pressure and jet wise)

This check is 110 with .075 and was installed in this location from Spud.

The check shown in actual photo is set up to open at 105 and has .075 jet. it was installed in this location by FIE outta the box. I added the loop from bottom of shutoff

I've always seen the high speed run off the port block, post-barrel valve. What you (and spud) are referring to as the high speed is what I (and a lot of other folks) would call the pump sizer in which case 105 psi check would be my first look into the problem. That is extremely high for a pump sizer. No wonder everyone is confused.

I agree it wont open at all till about 1000ft then limits fuel to entire system

Ok so now that that's cleared up, drop the check pressure to 20-30 psi on your "high speed pump sizer loop" and go from there.

So I should have that check opening at 35-40 psi with what jet?
And move the high speed to behind K valve in port nozzle line? Then what about a .090 Main?

First thing I would do is call Spud and figure out what he was trying to accomplish. I would do 30 psi on the pump loop, leave the 75 jet in it, take the main down to 80-90 and read the plugs. Leave the high speed out of the equation until you get your system figured out. I use a 5 pole EM leanout setup in lieu of a high speed but to each their own

When was the last time you had the blower freshened? A new set of strips go a long way.
