nozzle area formula?

    You can also use the same formula used for calculating cubic inches, only drop two steps. This way I don't have to remember two formulas....age thing they say!

    CI formula= bore x bore x stroke x # cylinders x .7854=

    Area of jet= jet size x jet size x .7854=

    Example of .050 jet

    .050 x .050 x .7854= .0019635

    An important thing to remember is "fuel flow is squared by pressure"

    So if there is any change in pressure after the jet change it will influence the volume of fuel flowing through that jet.
