If you look at footage of Antron's crash you will see the Mags torn off after the impact with the wall, that's where all the oil ran out of, BUT when it's stopped crashing and oil is pumping out the motor is still running, WTF and the mags aren't even in the motor.

So unless I am on drugs that thing ran without any ignition system.

Years ago during severe tire shake the mag fell off of the Miller High Life funny car. Maybe Ed McCullough. It ran almost as fast as with the mag. I can't imagine it would run at part throttle but heck the mag was skidding down the track. Nitro is some stuff. A 1% change is like wow......anyways I know this is an alcohol site.
