Importance of Matching Injector Hat To Blower

    I think that the air would flow ok. You would get a little turbulence but nothing serious

    The answer to that is 'MAYBE'. A smaller hat opening with a smooth transition to a larger blower inlet has the 'POTENTIAL' to create air velocity that will help fill the rotor cavity better than a perfectly matched opening. Or it could create a restriction. This is where experimentation and dyno time comes into play. That then is why blowers are such a science and guys keep what they've learned to themselves. Study up on fluid dynamics. It's taught me a bunch.
