they told me mine were "ok" but sent me a brand new pair anyway, i got them today. they look to be about the same thickness as the pair that i sent back, i still find it odd that there is no recall or something on their website about this issue

 

Agreed. When i was explaining the status on the phone today I used the term "recall, defect, or whatever is going on" and it went without comment on their part. I was expecting to draw something from it....oh well.

Either way, this is my last dealings with them. I will probably sell the new boots and switch over to a safety guy that actually gives a crap about us! (DT)
