Hope you don't mind me hitching a ride on your thread.

Currently converting from a chevy to a 426 hemi based deal. Cast Kieth Black block.
I have a JW ultra bell and case and will be needing a starter and flex plate. My converter utilizes both g.m. patterns for a total of 6 mounting bolts, the crank is an 8 bolt flange, with a standoff of .670.

I’m using the coan adapter plate with 153 tooth flexPlate. Passenger side starter. Works fine.

Jeff Bohr was absolutely perfect in solving my starter mounting challenges. I sent him my mid-plate and he machined the starter pocket/mounting studs for an extremely reasonable fee. Would not even consider doing it any other way next time.
