HIRATA MOTORSPORTS Joliet Div finish line / Norwalk Nats start line

The Hirata Motorsports, Skull Shine, Torco Racing Fuels team Joliet Nats div 3 race threw the team a curve with it 90 plus degree weather. Qualifying in the 8 position, a first round loss ended the weekend.

It was quite a feat to qualify since there were about 18 cars attempting to make the top 8. The weather was something we need to run in since the next few races will be similar. We defiantly learned lots and being on the 96% in those conditions just really took horsepower away. It’s the rules and we will deal with it, keep pressing and we’ll get it. This weekends Norwalk Nats will be a great place to put our hot weather tune up to some more tests. It’s a great facility and i am sure the track will be bitchin.
