Cranking compression?

    Cranking Compression

    Jim, I run 150#s now on my Conventual head BBC and check the same way you do, except butterflies closed. I ran 175#s on the last BBC, but lost some compression when going to a better blower to make tuning easier. The Hemi runs less and still goes good with a good blower-Jim:)
