    Do any of you guys find a particular approach works better than another for sealing a Bryant crank freeze type plug so it does not leak oil. into can area.
    Lock tight and silicone...?
    Thanks everyone

    I assume you're talking about the hole drilled thru the main journals?

    Are blown alky guys using cranks drilled like this?

    What is the advantage;
    -overall weight
    -stronger
    -air movement in the crankcase

    Is that not typical if it is. For a blown hemi.

    I put Gasgacinch inside the crank and on the freeze plug just as if you were putting it in a water block. Drive it all the way in until it bottoms out, put the snap ring on and maybe a layer of grey silicon if your nervous about it. If you don't have a freeze plug driver find a 1/2 drive sock that will fit inside the freeze plug as a driver and make sure it goes in square. Never had one leak.
