When we used to run good (don't remember that far back) we started thinking about a new set of GRP's at 25 to 27 runs. Larry Miner was not afraid to shift it at 10,000 RPM plus and I wasn't about to ask him to stop.

Back when we finally discovered we had an issue with Pennzoil in 2004 (they dropped the zinc/phosphate levels in their racing oil) Marc ran a 5.59 in my car on the last qualifying run at the Finals in Pomona. It spun all the even number rod bearings. We discovered that, even though the bearings were gone and the rods were ruined, the rods were still on crank and showed no signs of giving up.

    Thanks for the great product.

My bobweight is about 2450 and I run big heavy wristpins.

We very rarely have a pulloff anymore, the Outlaws went to floating finishes.

I'm not sure about the heat, I know some people talk about it.

How about promotional start ups for sponsorship events.Without actually driving car but starting motor do you count this in the rods life cycle.
