    Interesting reading from Reading:

    From DRC;
Left Lane: Michael Gunderson Runs 5.362/269.67, Now #1; Best prior run: 5.232/280.54, Was #1
Right Lane: Mike Kosky Runs 5.625/210.67, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.722/134.35, Was #18

Gunderson ran 280.54 miles per hour here three weeks ago. To back that up and set a national speed record, he has to run at least 277.73 miles per hour. He had a sluggish start, dropped some cylinders and started to haze the tires at mid track but still had a good ET. Kosky's run looked okay -- with just a little bit of tire shake -- and his ET was just okay as well.

    Have a good weekend all.

Will, How much would you slow them down? Remember, you will be slowing down all of them. Get your pencil, pen, whatever..answer the question....are you running for some kind of office? You answered the questions like a politician!

Again, How much would you slow them down? Enough so that the slow blown cars will have a chance?

By the way, 1% of nitro is equal to about 300 to 350 HP.

    Marty,

I will give you real shot ny shot of the last two runs.

Gunderson= dropped holes at the hit, picked them back up, burnt a piston, (tire haze). Never even though about hazing the tires.....5.36

2nd pass, dropped holes at the hit , picked them up and ran 5.491.

    :D

1% of nitro equals 300-350hp? Wow, so a car running 100% nitro has 30,000 to 35,000 hp? ;)

    ...sorry, I couldn't resist......

Yep, It's working Will. But I don't think you're gonna hear much for a while. I did really like your comment about the parity being even when everyone made as big a deal about an A/FD 20 as when the blown guys get a 20. I won't see you in Dalas, but I'm going to make it to Las Vegas & Pomona. Kim [IMG]

    rob,

    i ran the 40 in 4.8. :D

jason has run as quick as 5.38. quickest with me and jason tuning 5.40/264. we have a conway set up that me and jason work with. wish we could have went to some more national events to get a shot at running in better conditions than we see at divisionals. why you ask?

    5.40 - 5.13 = .27

    264.00- 280.00= 16 mph

So we really need to slow down the a/fuel cars this much to make you competitive......Just kiddin' :D

Hey congrates on (you guys') win and see ya soon.
