a friend of mine got one for his wedge and said it was JUNK!! had to get another one some were else
we have had that samething happen to us...and it was tight..Ihavent changed anything since, it did bend a push rod but it didn't hurt the rods.....
always had the moly chipping? call childs and they said that is part of using the moly ring...if you look at the ring under a loop you would freak...
