I did check that, but not the diameter of the crank snout compared to my old crank. It still pressed on, but I guess it wasn't enough press...…...
Measured my old crank snout, it is .0012 larger than the Bryant crank, think I found the problem......
In case anyone is interested, you can get grade 9 bolts from Specialty Fasteners. They torque to 400#.....

In case you missed it on the other thread I started, I had to cut a slot and split the hub to get it off.
