    First Gear gear change in glide

    I run heads up 1/8 mile dragster .It makes 1800 HP Blown SBC 4.57 rear gear an 34" tire shifting at 8500 rpm .

    Thinking about changing my first gear ratio in my glide from 1.8 too 1.69 will I see any Rpm change between shift in high gear. meaning less Rpm...

    I'm really happy with the combination been 4.03 175 in the 1/8 with it bearings always look great plugs read good cadmium burned half way around...

    I have a 402 sbc we run 44 pounds of boost an turn it 8700 rpm right now we run 32 deg of timing is there anymore left in it.
