John Shoemaker was the American Eagle

Steve San Paolo drove the Spaghetti Bender for a number of years in the 70's and early 80's.

    Some more:

    Don Devault - Quarter Flash
    Joe Petro - Kamikaze
    John Speelman - Chicken Chokers
    Tony Zizzo - Avenger
    Lou Novotny - Rogue
    Ray Weaver - Black Bull
    Charlie Bauer - Night Fever
    John Samolyk - Pleasure Seekers
    Mike Kosky - American Flyer
    Dall Hall - Nutmegger
    Dan Nimmo - Kentucky Gambler
Cliff Bozzelli - Boz Baby Express
Chase Knight - Golden Gator (turbo car from FL)
    Dave DeAngelis - Public Enemy
    Bill Barney - The Broker
    Dave Hage - The Landlord

The majority of the dragsters that I remember did not have nicknames whereas most of the FC's seemed to have them.

Trivia Quiz - What was the nickname of the Nitro FC that Len Imbrogno drove in the early 80's? They match raced all over the middle US for awhile and did pretty well.

    how could i forget??

How could I forget one of the most infamous TAD nicknames in class history, and arguably the best t-shirt out there...

    Len Cottrell's "Chicken Chokers"

    also Alan Bradshaw's "Back Attack"
which reminds of Cory Mac's "Mac Attack" TAD

Lenny's t-shirts were always sought after, but the best (in my mind) t-shirts out there for awhile were Jim Head's "Give me Head till I'm dead" shirts.
