We recently received a set of T&D fathead rockers and stands in a trade along with some other parts. I've talked to Brad at T&D and have gotten the spec's and setup information, but would like to hear from someone who has experience using them. For instance, what are the benefits to using them, if any? Are they relatively trouble free? Is the geometry better than stock Brad setup? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

The oiling is totally trouble free. Supposedly several different designs with different sized studs for the shafts. We have the smaller ones and upgraded to high strength material.
Some fast guys swear by them and some guys claim they are junk. We have 16 laps on a px setup and are happy so far.

The only problem I have seen is the early ones with the small studs that hold on the rocker shafts. If you have those then you should use ARP 2000 bolts instead.

Carefully check pushrod clearance. may rub block and head stud nuts. machine nuts for clearance to avoid side load

Pushrod length is also important. Make sure the oil feed in the adjuster lines up with the supply hole in the rocker. Also check that shaft is in round the right way for the oil supply.
