    Screw blown alky......

What diameter and brand of pin seems to work best? The bigger Stewarts?

How about hard anodizing the ring lands? Good idea, or a waste?

Have to order a bunch of rods & pistons, and any thoughts would be helpful.

    Thanks.

You can't go wrong with the best pin you can get. A cheap pin is like holding up a bridge with tooth picks. You can hard anodize the ring lands, but you'll have to find someone who has the right tooling for the ring groove. The ring groove has to be machined bigger to compensate for the thickness of the anodizing. It's not worth the amount of time the pistons last anyway. If you happen to have Stewarts phone number, I'd like to have it, I'm going to need some pins shortly.
