    Hi All (again!)

After a bit of advise for lenco ratios here; 511ci Rodeck 481T, BacMan heads, Mooneyham 14/71 standard helix @40% over, Lenco CS2 3 speed, 2 disc AFT clutch, 9.5" toploader axle, 36" Goodyears.

I know ideally we wouldn't run 36" tyres, but it's all about the look, the car would flat look wrong with 34,5s (1934 Ford 3 window coupe altered) and we aren't looking to rotate the earth, eventually just want consistant 6.7s or around that area.

So, what would you be looking at for lenco ratios? Currently a 4.30 gear in the axle but will be changing to a 4.56 over the winter. At the moment the car is stupidly lazy off the line, like 1.3 60ft lazy off idle - this weekend it'll be getting some launch rpm (still learning to drive a clutch car).

So far the car's wandered to an 8.2@171mph without trying, I want it to really launch :D

With a 4.56 rear and a 36" tire you would need something between a 2.10 and a 2.20. Closer to 2.20 the better. Anything lower than a 2.10 will keep your driveshaft RPM too low so you will get tire shake and will work the clutch too much in the launch.

Thanks Mike, we'll look into that over the winter.

Just to update, I ran 7.60@173 this weekend, clocked 172 at the 1000ft traps then the burst panel went.
