Mike; the reason was Bruce's health, not the business.
    RIP Bruce and C&A.

C&A gapless were the best IMHO.

Total Seals are fine but not C&A

I guess you're saying you can buy them again?
If I remember correctly they were called Z gap and I don't see that listed.

According to a friend of mine Bruce is doing fine now, and that is why he started this new business.

According to this I would say it is the same Bruce Walker.

    HIGH PERFORMANCE PISTON RINGS
HELLO: TO THE HIGH PERFORMANCE WORLD

First let me say it's great to be back in business :)

My carrier started in the High Performance World when I opened my first Company in 1968 Called Performance Components based in Glendale , Ca.
Some of my first customers were Bob Brooks,Ken Veney,Al Weiss,
Dwayne Lidtke, and Moe Mills just to name a few. At the same time I was also racing dragsters which actually started in 1963 with my long time friend Bruce Jones. Bruce & I had a injected gas small block Lakewood car which we took out for the first time to Lions drag strip and San Fernando Drag Strip. Once we got all the bugs worked out we had a ball racing guys like Barry Kaplan at the mud pond.As time went by I was asked if I would like to drive a injected Nitro dragster well I jumped at the opportunity and never looked back. From those Jr. Fuel days I progressed up to driving for many different Top Fuel teams of course learning all the way what was needed for ultimate reliable performance for all of the internal engine components. Now back to Piston Rings you may have heard or used the following piston ring types .043,.046, .017 Dyke's, .031 Dyke's, or 1/16 made from a variety of materials. I grew up with this as dinner table conversation, see my father was instrumental in designing these ring cross sections using stainless steel with a hard chrome face which very quickly became the standard for all Blown Fuel, Gas, and Alky engines which inspired me to start my own company. In the 70's I merged performance Components with Childs & Albert Racing Enterprises which then became known as Childs & Albert Performance Components Inc. So now you have little insight into my background.

Look Forward to Hearing From Ya,
