This oil filter is fitted to our Ex-Kallitta car (2008-2009) but I can't source a new mesh element. It's open both ends, and measures 6.6" long with 1.75" dia. ends. Thanks in advance.

I have the same element in a fram filter.
But mine is similar to a system one. With canister and cage.

This is the same as my Fram billet unit except I have the short one, Ed Cote told me to avoid the old units and I am betting that is what you have. Mine has a cage type filter available through RBS I believe.

Wish I new what to tell you other than Try calling JR at RBS. He may have a filter or maybe you can just switch it to the new style.

    Best wishes,

Thanks for the help, it is an early (long) Ed Cote filter. We looked at the shorter one, but will stay with the larger surface area.
