Great American Teach-In

We did the "Great American Teach-In" at Doris Sanders Learning Center November 18th !! We had fun, the kids loved it, we got invited back for next year, and the Principal and Teachers were so appreciative !! The fire truck, and police K-9 unit cancelled (budget cuts) so we were the big show, and we took full advantage !! We had kids from K thru 12th, split into 3 groups, so I did my speech 3 times, and burned out across the basketball court (3 times too) before anyone gets concerned, every safety precaution was taken, no one was ever in any danger.

Cost to me: 2 jugs alky, one day off work

What I got in return: an entire school full of kids cheering me, hugs from every teacher, and the principal sobbing uncontrollably, thanking me for making 'her kids' so happy !!

Even after all I have been thru, I consider myself extremely blessed, and try to give a bit back to the community any/every chance I get Thanks for reading us, Mike owner/driver Team BackMotor AHRA funny car
