1022's work great. Ran 2622's last year with no issue as well while others suffered some chunking issues. Nothing reported on the 1022's that I know of and they are the ones that have been around the longest of what's left for Alky..

We run 1022 on our dragster cause they where having compound issues with the 2622 we had a set that we couldnt get to make traction with.
The goodyears grow better than the hoosiers.
Tigges Racing ran goodyears also, on there funny car

I have been using Good Years for over 10 years, the last set on the car were 2622's, I did have small chunking with them this past year, but there were also other Div 1 Funny Car teams on Hoosiers with the same issue's. Performance wasn't affected with either tire brand.

We run a lot of marginal tracks, and a few good ones, and find that the Goodyears work very well on good tracks, but not so well on a slippery surface. I can get the Hoosiers to hook up on almost anything, and they still work great on a National event track too.
