Gear ratio question#2

    Sorry to hi jack the first thread on this topic but i am very interested in this info as i have a similar set up 2600# door car blown 540, 168 1st gear power glide 389 rear gear 34.5 tire still unsure on power as we haven't dynoed yet but are trying to put us in around a 7.50- 7.30 et would love some thoughts on my combo as well or a suggested new rear gear combo will be running 1/4 mile

    4.56 will go fast. The glide planetary will probably be trouble if you lean on it.1.80 is stronger and the 456 will still work.
