I'm looking for different ideas on how to mount a starter from the front.
Old F/C chassis and a starter will not fit in the conventional / stock location.
I see people using the blower style with the belt. I'm looking for a on board starter that can be used
with a 12 volt battery. I'm thinking the front mount might be the answer. Just need to figure out how.
    Thanks: Matt

We use a champ car style setup with a splined hub bolted to the end of the crank. This required a tube to run thru the fuel tank for access. Looks kind of crazy but it works well. And we always start the car with it in reverse just in case something stupid happens so we don't run over the guy running the starter.
