VIPsports.com to Blitz the Glitz of Las Vegas

Milford, Michigan. ParkerTech Racing Services is taking their VIPsports.com Top Alcohol Funny Car to Las Vegas for the first time. The 7th Annual NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals will take place April 6-9 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This will be the fourth and final stop in the team’s marathon “spring tour.”

“We’re excited about this race,” said team owner, Frank Parker. “VIPsports.com really got caught up in the excitement of NHRA drag racing and wanted to see us run at more tracks. Las Vegas was one of their choices. This gives us the opportunity to see new competitors and work out new tuning solutions.”

The team qualified well at their first three races of the season (Gainesville, Bradenton and Houston), made it to the second round in two races and won the TAFC title in Bradenton. The Mopar Hemi-powered Dodge Stratus has improved at each event, boosting team spirits and building their inertia. With the team sponsor attending the Las Vegas race, there is a definite feeling that the cards will be stacked in their favor.

Top Alcohol qualifying is scheduled for Friday, April 7, at 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm. The final qualifying session is on Saturday at 1:30 pm, with the first round of eliminations at 4:30 pm.
