Billet Lenco

    I see pics of nifty looking billet Lenco's floating around. Any substantive difference/benefit, or just a different case, same guts? Curious also about net weight in finished state? IE: A 3-speed mag unit versus a 3-speed billet unit. Thanks.

    George Klass the PR guy at Lenco says for the CS2 billet aluminum case is within less than a pound of the old style light weight magnesium case. They claim greater stiffness and the ability to maintain its rigidity over its life span. The black anodized ones look super sexy in my opinion, it’s a shame that you have to cover them up with a blanket. For what it’s worth I have broken a few of the mag case CS-1 stuff over the years.
