I just noticed a headlining sports story on Ashley Force going pro on my AOL browser. Granted the story referred to the alcohol ranks as NHRA's AAA series, but I think this is a huge milestone for the sport as I've never, ever, ever seen anything drag racing remotely close to the AOL sports section, much less a 'cover' feature.

    hehe... AAA series!

I wonder is John paid for that plug? LOL.. :-D... I wonder if Lucas notices that... its still good publicity for NHRA... I think Ashley will bring NHRA into the public eye, and I expect great things from her...

P.S. on the first picture it states: "Ashley Force, daughter of funny car race legend John Force, will try to become the first woman to reach the final round of an NHRA national event."... maybe they should be a bit more specific about how its only in F/C that a woman hasnt reached the final... perhaps AOL isnt the most accurate news source... :-?

i saw that link, too -
pretty funny, she was saying something along the lines of
how she has seen him in a robe and slippers, so he won't be as intimidating to her.

I just read that Ashley Force has also picked up sponsorship
from Mach 1 Air Services, as well did Erica Enders.
Mach 1, was the primary sponsor on David Baca`s Fuel car aswell
as an associated sponsor on the Big O`s A/fueler.
    Both are parked for now.
Unless Garret is still driving for Windham with Commercial Busness
Machines as the sponsor, or is it Greg Lawrences A/fueler.

    Bacas parked?

I must have missed that... did Baca not get a sponsor for 07? That sucks... I always liked him...

You can go to David Bacca's web site and he did loose the sponsor to the Force empire. Says he has a new car but will sit out 07. His tuner is also gone. Good luck to David as he gives 100% and is a nice guy.
