any nostalgia racers on here?

Any of you guys coming to the goodguys race at norwalk?Do you know if any other racers are coming?I would like to see team _Plueger and Romine come!but they probably wont

 

They need to work out the fuel pump issue first!!!

 

Don't know about Plueger but I'll be there with a Plueger chassis, does that count.....

I suspect Romine will be there, Indy Good-Guys had a pretty good turnout of Nostalgia Funnys, not sure exactly what the fuel pump issue is, thought there was more disagreement about blower size. Wish they could come up with a set of rules everyone could live with, the last thing that movement needs is a lot of division. Wishful thinking, I guess.

 

I thought it had been resolved after reading "Burk's Blast" on DRO.

We'd love to be out there and play with our blown alky T bucket, but a prior race has us locked in. By the way,it is Peter Gallen's Poverty Stricken AA 74 Vega. Just wish there were more local or just more east cost BIG nostalgia races to attend, maybe even chase points. Everyone seems to be midwest or west coast...oh well...

 

FYI Don Hampton makes a two lobe unstriped 6/71 that puts out as much air as a striped 10/71, and an unstriped 8/71 that puts out as much as a 12/71, put it on and no restriping,no more hot air. were getting the 8/71 for the flat bottom i tune.

I havent seen Paul since he last ran IHRA but it will be good to see him and his AWESOME MAN OF WAR MUSTANG!!!

I was told he was going to be at Cordova. If he is not, I would be shocked. His "partner" is the kat putting on the series that has an event at Cordova. It would be a major slap in the face of his partner if he decided not to support that event... Interesting tho-------
