Hey guys I have an Aluminum Brodix BBC block and I'd like to put a roots blower on it. Ive heard that this block will not handle much more than 1500 hp and from the et times ive been running I know I currently run more than that using an iron block. I would hope a block that costs this much could handle 2500hp but Im nervous to use it. Does anybody have any info on this block or know of anybody that is running this block without any issues? The only numbers I see on the block are B141A. I hope that's enough info, thanks in advance.

Is it a solid block? We use Brodix blocks with ProChargers at well over 2000 hp. They have solid and 1/2 fill plus full water. We prefer the solid.

Call Jon Kyle of Apd carbs. In Ohio. He helped develop that program for brodix . Very knowledgeable.

I ran a Donovan BBC with Indy heads with a 14/71 in a 2700 door car that ran 6.50s . This was a water block with no water or block fill.
