    Thanks! I'm stuck at home here until later tonight, then Ill head up. I am so proud of those guys! I can't believe we ran a 5.293 @ 270.70!!! Keep your fingers crossed for the final! Kim

    I'm pretty sure was Duane Sheilds, but I'm not sure what race. But a better question is how many times a BAD has ran a 20. and was that a high 20 or a low 20?

    I DO know that it was our first. With a great track with excellent track prep, with near perfect weather conditions.

    congrats to marty on the run, but mk, i hardly think one .20 run (a perfect run i'm sure) in a mineshaft by a blown car makes parity a 'non-issue' as you put it. just look at the reaction to the run, it was an awesome run. when you're looking at the results, scroll down one more run and lucas runs a ho-hum 5.25 at 272. honestly, for them that is no big deal. we all know if an a/fueler made a run anywhere on the same level as marty's run was to blown cars, we would see a low teen out of one.

    My point is if marty can do it so can all the other blower cars there will never be parity in
    any heads up class Can Rit Pustari run with Kalitta can terry haddock run with force can anybody in tafc run with manzo NO
    the only things that determin parity is
    MONEY ,EXPERIENCE ,DETERMINATION ,PERCIVERENCE
    if you want true parity give every racer 1 mill
    & the same crew cheif then you will have parity
    thats not going to happen so fix your s#it and lets race

    Well dan there is a reason i dont post on these boards
    We run our car on a very limited budgit when we go to the races it is to have some fun and run
    our car, we know that we can't run with the heavy hitters and if that makes us an also ran so be it
    our main objective is to keep my driver safe
    and not hurt parts
    and by the way what car do you have that runs 20's that allowes you to speak

    i hate to see you go, but if thats what you want to do, thats your call.

    as far as all the blown cars being able to run .20's, all the a/fuel cars ought to be able to run 5.13.
