Ok, the old fellow has sprung for a ticket for Indy, so my question is this : if you've got any teeth left, will you risk a few to let me do the clutch ? You know I hate to just stand around!

We blew our estate money for what ever on a new block and heads, and are packing our bags....if we don't ruin our parts sooner....we will welcome any and all help....especially from you! even though your reputation preceeds you, I guess we will take that chance...We always seem to be short crew...and It will be a pleasure to have you there! We have five races in six weeks...tell me If we need you...Mike said that he has enough clutch parts to let you play with and hopes that you have some thirtys and twentys left in that old bag of yours....You notice that We did not call you an old bag....Looking forward to working with you!
