I know that I have seen this before but I would like to make my 3 speed a 2 speed and keep all the sections so I can have my options open. Thanks Randy:confused:

Call Lenco and get a dummy shaft for the front section. Then pull out the front Gearset and replace it with the dummy shaft. You also need a plug for the shift tower hole. You still need to put oil in that front section because of the bearings.

Call Hugh at 604-794-5735. He has a couple of the Lenco gear set eliminators. It is a little piece that takes a bearing and goes into the case where the ring gear was. Your current shaft just plugs in to it. If you leave the tower in place it will be sealed up. Mike is correct that you need oil in that unit for the bearings and I think you need to add a bit more oil to get back to the same level as the clutch pack is no longer there to displace some of the oil.
