    p.s. ..... I'm usually at any track I'm racing at before they open regardless of anything ... including weather ....

    i would rather be hangin at the track than at the hotel .....:cool:

    I agree, I went to Bakersfield for the first time to race and was treated great. I sure didn't go thier to hang out at the hotel. If you have been racing long, you have seen it all and must be ready to change at the drop of a hat. Going back for the MM can't hardly wait!!

    Fiat, leveler puts it in proper perspective. If you expect to be right on time or have it run on schedule, you have not run at to many big events. It does not happen. At nationals every class other than the pro get shuffled big time. At the MM pr CHRR you have to expect that. As Leon said, he found out the night before. and They likely did announce it, not that you hear the annoucnements at the track all the time. If you are at the track and want it to go perfect, You are missing out on the drag racing experience in my opinion.
    It is about getting away from the dam work week.
