I bought a used car and the cables are in great shape, I was wondering if you guys used any lube in these and if so, what kind, and how often? If this has already been covered give me a hint where to find it. Thanks

We've spent way too much time building contraptions to inject grease into cables and for me it wasn't worth it. It maybe nursed the nonsmooth cable to last a little longer, but we put new ones on regardless.

Goodvibrations Racing has good prices on them.

If they act like they need to be lubed - THROW THEM AWAY AND GET NEW !!!

For the cost of them it is NOT worth the safety gamble too you , your car and others around you !

I use Gibbs on all my Morse cables, makes them slicker than snot and helps prevent corrosion.
