I can't seem to put enough silicone on the deck surface of my BAE forged block to stop it from leaking. Has anyone tried the Flatout brand gasket with embedded silicone? Or any other recommendations? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice but I guess my question is has anyone tried the Flatout brand gasket with embedded silicone?

BAE Forged block (do they make a forged water block?)
    O-rings and receiver grooves
    9/16 head studs
    .058 Clark head gasket

We run them on are sbc. 44lbs of boost with water in the head and block. never had a leak yet. motor came with them, and was running vary hard. so i have all way used them. did find out that its cheaper to order them threw summit than calling flatout direct...

I've used the Flatout silicone gaskets on my KB stage 6 fathead 5 motor for a couple of years now. With non coated gaskets I used a thin layer of silicone in the corners and around the oil passages and had some small leaks, but nothing major, and nothing more than I had had for years with different blocks and heads. After switching to the Flatout gaskets, the only leak I've had was a intake manifold corner leak that ran down and looked like a head gasket problem. Since correcting that, I have no leakage problems at all (from the heads), and would and do recommend them to any and all.
