    Hey guys and girls.

This one is for all those running MSD 44's, how have you grounded your heads? Where abouts on the heads are the grounds, how have they been attached, what parts used etc?

We have run a lead to each head, where we've attached it physically to the side of the head (Above where it says BAE on the side). Do those who run them think this is sufficient? I'll put up a photo I think to also help clarify, this will probably make it easier to understand than me trying to describe it.

We are trying to source why we aren't getting the performance we should be, and trying to think maybe our heads aren't grounded properly, or similar!

Thanks so much for everyone who's helped me so far with this pro mag, had nothing but problems with it since we bought it, really hoping to get to the bottom of it otherwise was a huge wasted 'investment'

    Cheers

That is the best place then the other end attaches to the same grounding point as the coil.

A dedicated connection to anywhere on the head should be fine, the main thing in my mind is that the ground goes back to the coil assembly as shown on the pdf not just to chassis ground.

    See link to MSD website,
