WOOTTON’S LEARNING CURVE HEATS UP IN DALLAS

<img src="http://insidetopalcohol.com/picture.php?pictureid=160&albumid=14&dl=1270680931&thumb=1" align="right" borders="0"/>Ennis, Texas – Learning to do anything takes time and patience. However, when you’re name is Kristen Wootton and you’re driving a Joe Monden tuned 3,500 horsepower Injected Nitro-Methane powered A/Fuel dragster protected by METTLE ARMOR 70 wt Racing Oil, you simply just want to get out there and whoop up on the competition.

The 32-year young mother of two from Magnolia, Texas will get her shot this weekend as the NHRA Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series heads to the Texas Motorplex in Ennis for the first LODRS D-4 event in the 2010 NHRA drag racing season.

Coming off her first ever competitive drag race last month in Baytown at the O’Reilly NHRA Springnationals, where the owner of Glass Depot qualified in the 10th position, recorded a career best speed of 266 miles per hour and raced arguably the most successful competitor in the history of NHRA’s Top Alcohol Dragster category, Bill Reichert in a first round match-up, Wootton is confident her METTLE ARMOR protected A/Fuel Dragster is ready for her first round win.

“I was so proud of our team’s effort at our first race in Houston last month and I’m looking forward to advancing to the next stage in my learning curve this weekend in Dallas,” noted Wootton. “The car my husband Don and our crew chief Joe Monden have given to me is such a quality mount, I kind of feel bad being the weak link in the operation. We’re using the best parts, protected by the best oil and tuned by one of the best tuners and crews in the business. I’ve been practicing at home during the past few weeks, visualizing the runs I made in Houston, trying to learn from my mistakes. No matter what happens at this weekend’s event, I’m sure we’ll give it our best effort.”

Wootton’s efforts can hardly be considered to be a weak link. Having only made a total of 11 runs down a quarter-mile, her performance and the performance of her new METTLE ARMOR 70 wt Racing Oil has caught the eye of several of the top teams in NHRA Drag Racing. CleanBoost® 70 wt METTLE-ARMOR Racing Oil™ (http://www.cleanboostoil.com) is specifically blended for nitro-methane and methanol fuel burning engine applications. Visual inspection and oil analysis has proven, when using METTLE-ARMOR™ reduced piston skirt, cylinder wear and bearing deformation are achieved and component life can be extended longer. Reduced oxidation on the oil will also allow for longer engine and component life, particularly when cylinder wash-down occurs.

“Kristen is a pure talent and this METTLE ARMOR 70 wt Racing Oil is the best I’ve ever used,” noted team crew chief Joe Monden. “She has been working hard to accelerate her learning curve and after she raced Reichert in round one last week, we knew she was ready to be a winner. With the METTLE ARMOR in the tank, we’ll be able to lean hard on the tune up (if the track can hold it) and give Kristen a competitive car this weekend in Dallas. I know she can handle it.”
