Whipple question

    Can anyone tell me the difference between the old style whipple and the newer R980? thanks!

    if you mean by appearance the old style used a seperate injector bolted on top of blower..the newer version used an integral front mounted injector.

    back in 95-97 we had both style whipples on our car. The newer version was a little better but i never felt it was anywhere near what everyone said it would be. As far as durability i never had a problem with either. We always wanted to try the older one with an upright injector and tall A/fuel style scoop..i think that might have shown something.
