A FRIEND OF MINE CALLED ME TODAY AND TOLD ME THAT HE HAD JUST CALLED AMERICAN WHEELS TO GET A NEW SET OF 16X16 WHEELS AND THE SALES PERSON ON THE PHONE TOLD HIM THAT HE SHOULD CONSIDER BUYING A NEW SET OF BEAD LOCK WHEELS BECAUSE IN 90 DAYS NHRA WILL ISSUE A NEW RULE THAT ALL CARS THAT TRAVEL OVER 180 MPH WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE NEW BEAD LOCK WHEEL IN ORDER TO RUN!
NOW THE REASON I AM WRITING THIS IS, HAS ANYBODY HEARD ABOUT THIS RULE GOING INTO EFFECT????
OR HAS ONE OF THEIR SALES PEOPLE JUST WENT OFF THE DEEP END???
    SEE YA,
    LARRY
AS ALWAYS THANKS FOR THE SPACE!

No reason to. Hoosier and GoodYear both sell the stuff to run liners and tubes. Unless I've been on another planet I haven't heard of or seen any failures to justify such a change. But then again, I didn't see any reason to break away from 125% overdrive...but what do I know.
