I have a new Moroso pan with a -20 outlet. P&P pump has a -16 fitting. Question is -20 line with reducer at the pump or -16 line with reducer at pan?

Run a -20 if you can work it in. I run a -20 on mine with a KB billet pump. Don

Do like Don said run a -20 from pan to pump we do the same thing with an olson pan and kb billet pump on tfx with zero issues. My other engine has a williams pan with a dual pickup and im constantly fighting with it. Just think of it like this you start putting adaptors on lines and that will give you a better chance of having failures. Puts too much of a strain on pump by reducing the hose size. Don Ominus is a well respected guy so you can trust anything he says.

    -16

As a former bottom end guy the -20 line is a bit more cumbersome to deal with than the -16. I would put a 20 to 16 reducer and run a -16 scavenge line. I would also make sure to run a line that can hold up to the suction such as our 811 series or 910 series hose. If not something along those lines, at least a wire reinforced fuel hose.

I think I made some lines for you a couple years back, I'll gladly make something for you.
