Congrats to John Weaver, Ron Meer, Bob Devour and the gang on consistant runs and a great win.

Also to Jackie Stidham for ripping off a 5.5 blast in qualifying and then taking the win.

Last but not least (according to George and Jane Etterman, anyway) Jon Johnson's runner up to Jackie ain't all bad for a rookie.

Then there's Jerry Madderns fleet of dragsters making it to the finals (how do you drive in a helmet, jeans and a t-shirt, anyway?) and Tom Conway/Steve Torrence 5.30-ing them to death even with -1% in the tank. That .003 red for O'Bannon had to hurt.

Wish I coulda been there.

A big ol Thanks

I just wanted to say thanks for all the kind words. To say that we had a great first weekend I think would be an understatement! We all had a great time and are looking forward to the rest of the year!

I wanted to give a tip of the cap to the Stidham and Wilson gang for doing everything they could to give me time to try and back up! Jackie, Jerry and the entire team is a class act, but they sure put the noose around everyone with that 5.5who knows what!!! Anyways, can't wait to see everyone soon!
