It can only be done by the original manufacturer.

Rob, you need to contact Mike or Pat Norcia at RAM Clutches. A question for you....have you owned this clutch from the start or did you buy it used? Is the flywheel anodized red and the hat (cover) in a matching red or is the flywheel red and the hat aluminum colored? The reason I ask is that a lot of the original 10" 9 lever RAM clutches came out with a defective hat (cover) that cracked and blew apart, these original hats were red. RAM then started updating the clutches and changed the hat (cover) with one that was aluminum color. If it is the old hat then you are going to be charged $300-$400 for a replacement. You are really stuck between a rock and a hard spot on this. Spend the money or not have a safe certified clutch that may come apart. You can call RAM with the serial number and they can tell you for sure

If this is for a BBC then I know someone that maybe still has a almost new or new one still in a box.

    recert flywheel wheel and clutch

thanx mike for the heads up this is a great site for infor for racers like me startering out and would like to thank all the people who responded to all my infor needs. mike it is aluminum not red but the flywheel is red and it is 2003 and 2002 models on it. i am not fimiliar with clutch set ups do i just send the top part with the levers in along with the bottom flywheel or do i have to send it in with the rotors and cluttches too for recert. or once the clutches reach a certain wear thickness you just through them out because they have a cert tag on them. also sling shot i have tim hyatts address and number but wasnt sure that he doea re certs on flywheels and clutches. thanx guys let me know take care rob
