VP Racing Fuels names Steve Burns as President

VP RACING FUELS RESTRUCTURES SENIOR MANAGEMENT

SAN ANTONIO, TX (August 7, 2006) – VP Racing Fuels, Inc., an industry leader in the production and distribution of racing fuels and other performance products, announced today a restructuring of its senior management. Steve Burns -- founder, principal owner and Director of Research & Development -- has reassumed the position of President and CEO, replacing Fred Morrison. Morrison, President of the company since 1985, recently ended employment with VP. “We truly appreciate Fred Morrison’s contribution to VP’s growth and development through the years and wish him well,” said Burns.

“Prior to Fred’s tenure, I served as VP’s President and CEO before relinquishing those responsibilities to focus on R&D. I’m excited about becoming involved in the day-to-day operation of the business again, but having said that, I still intend to continue to actively lead VP’s R&D efforts.”

It was Burns’ development of C12 racing fuel that launched VP in 1975 and led to C12 becoming the most successful fuel in racing history, fueling AMA motorcycles, NHRA drag racing champions, Indy Lights, DIRT, NASCAR Grand National and Modified Champions among many others. Burns then focused on higher compression applications and C14 was born, contributing to an unbroken string of NHRA Pro Stock World Championships that started in 1976 and continues today with VP's very powerful C25 blend.
