Volunteer Crew for Maple Grove

I tried this back at the NED Regional, but got no takers... I'll try again for Maple Grove...

Hello all, I'm a long time alky fan and PSA fan member looking to volunteer crew on a team for the October 4-7 National at Maple Grove Dragway. I am a good mechanic and fabricator, a mechanical designer by trade, and in good physical shape.

Although I have no direct experience working on race cars, I'm more than willing to do what I'm told, be it clean parts, help cook dinner or actually wrench on the car. I started my love affair with drag racing back in 1968, and have been following it since.

I'd be on site all day Friday (Thursday night if required) all day Saturday, and all day Sunday (I'll be packing out Monday). I would not be a wandering fan, I'd be committed to the operation 24/7. I'd provide my own lodging & transportation but would ask for credentials so I could be part of the starting line personnel.

If any of you guys want to take a chance with me, I'd love to be on the other side of the ropes just once...
