valve spring question

    on some springs on one end the first coil is champhered on the outer side would the champher go up or down I cant remember..thanks Dave

    Spring fit

    It's all about the fillet in the corner steps of the spring retainer. A sharp, square edge will not a fillet. Both ends of each coil should be corrected to fit the receiving part.
