i was day-dreaming today at work, with about 2 million things running through my head. i just started thinking about used parts, and where we have bought them. unlike most people, we race on a very small budget. we are lucky to do 10 races a year. we don't get many new parts, so i am always on the look out for good used stuff. this thought popped in my head..... i have seen parts for sale from virtually every racer you can think of......except for 2. Frank Manzo and Jay Payne......i have never seen an ad for anything from those guys.........ever. do they just sell to their close friends? i know this probably sounds dumb to most of you, but i am curious. where do all their parts go?

if someone was running their cars that hard to run 5.40's at 265, would YOU want to run those parts after they had them??? lol!

    Jay and Frank

    Simply put........
These two guys have the highest integrity and reputations they are proud of and want to keep it that way!!
The marginal stuff goes in the trash, and the stuff they are running usually have a waiting list when they decide to freshen up. They do not need to advertise!
I have not dealt with Frank (but certainly wouldn't be afraid to), but I have steered many of my customers to Jay, (roller car, blowers, ect.)(with NO commission) because he's a stand up guy and I've got his phone number!:)

my reply was meant to be a joke. I have known Frank since I was 8 years old, and he is one of the nicest guys in racing. I've met Jay , and he too is a really great guy. Both their stuff is top notch equipment, and would have no problem running anything they sold me.
