    any word on Gunderson other site talkin he is shuttin down for good
    can certainly understand with the state of the economy thanks to our

    That would be a real shame. Mike's TAD was the first one I ever saw up close. He used to come to Gainesville and test occasionally on Saturday nights when I was there bracket racing. I remember folks (including me) running to the fence when he fired it up to make a pass. It's a big part of the reason I have one now.

    I don't have it in front of me right now to check it, but I thought I saw the ad in National Dragster's classifieds to sell his whole operation. I will check it again when I get home, to be sure I'm correct.:(

    Hey Baker,

    Are you going to make the Open Outlaw race on Sept 5 at Sunshine in Clearwater? I ran down there in the spring and it's a pretty decent program they have going.

    You are correct!:) The Open Outlaws have a fantastic program going now. Unfortunately, because my ticker has had a couple of "tune ups and lube jobs" in the last two years, My doctor said "not no", .......... but "hell no" to my NHRA license form!:mad:

    I will attend to support them all but I am not going to be able to participate. You are already on the points board, you need to be there to put a "whoa" on Logan's hot rod!:D

    My first appearance was lackluster! I popped a burst panel on the 1st qualifier. By the time we got it back together, we just missed our second shot. The cause of the burst panel going was a blown head gasket, so I was easy pickins for first round. It's all back together now and ready to take another shot at it.

    Go for your "second shot at Logan's hot rod". That is what makes this fun!:)

    I am still going to hook up with all of the major participants of Open Outlaws at St. Pete. This Outlaw thing is going to be huge, as it should be.

    These guys love the sport and have the "hardware" to give us all a fun day at the track.:D
